Care Instructions Example

One of the key benefits of the Service is the section devoted to Care Instructions for sitters, kennels, groomers, walkers, and veterinarians. No longer will you need to create a set of written instructions, verbally tell or list anything each time someone is looking after your pet. Before dropping your pet off, simply print your pet’s Care Instructions or a temporary pet ID Card from the site. Then give the pet service or vet the temporary pet ID Card and also let them know that the pet’s essential records can be reached using the information on the pet’s collar tag.

  • Pepper attended a six week pet management training course where he learned to trust myself and others, to remain calm when confronting new issues. He also follows stop, sit, stay, down, shake, fetch and come commands.

  • As a border collie, Pepper is highly intelligent and has been trained to work with people with diabilities.

  • Lynn is considering an ESA Certificate.

  • He is in very good physical condition and is energetic and athletic. As he is relatively young he does not have any age-related structural or medical issues.

  • Once welcomed, he is friendly with everyone, even strangers and does not become easily agitated or aggressive. He is protective of the home and will bark at exterior movements.

  • Eats primary dried food. We feed him the Gentle Canine Nutrition dog foods, Chicken and Real Beef and Bacon, 3 to 4 cups, daily. Eats breakfast after going out and dinner around 6:00 pm.

  • No, people food is not okay for Pepper. Please follow the diet / schedule recommendations in the note, above.

  • First thing in the morning and last thing at night before bed. Needs to go out every 3 hours or so when he barks at the door.

  • Pepper likes to sit next to you and begs for attention. He will also beg to go out and is obedient and will come when called. He will also get off of the furniture when told!

  • We exercise Pepper twice, daily; early morning 30-minute brisk walk and in the evening a walk to nearby Central Bark Dog Park. It has an open field where we play frisbee. Once a week Pepper does an obstacle course workout at Canine Training Center.

  • Because Pepper is a highly active dog, be careful when he is around children and the elderly as he will actively greet them, jump up on them, and attempt to lick them.
